WHY CHOOSE A FIRE-RETARDANT COVER?
The tarpaulin has undergone a series of tests in order to be approved “M0” by the National Test Laboratory. In France there is a classification (Standard NF P. 92. 507), composed of 5 categories, which defines the reaction to fire of materials: it goes from M0 (non-flammable) to M4 (easily flammable). This classification is established by laboratories approved by the Ministry of the Interior, including the Scientist Center and Technical of Construction industry. It corresponds to the resistance time of a material at a given temperature. For more information, consult the CSTB website.
Combustibility | Flammability | |
M0 | Non-combustible | Non-flammable |
M1 | Combustible | Non-flammable |
M2 | Combustible | Not flammable |
M3 | Combustible | Moderately flammable |
M4 | Combustible | Highly flammable |
